At this time, Heartland’s Saffira is still available. She’s will be 7 months old soon. She’s a moderate energy pup that would do well in an active home or homestead to help keep rodents and vermin in check. She’s been around cats, dogs, children, and an early exposure to chickens but we don’t have any more currently.
Our prairie has turned into its glorious fall colors. One of my favorite times of the year!
Welcome to Heartland Farmette, where we’re living life on the prairie in the Illinois heartland. We pursue various homesteading things in our small corner of the world. We love to garden. We converted a small part of a crop field to a prairie, woody perennials, and an orchard. We raise Old-Time Scotch Collies. Previously, we’ve kept chickens for meat and eggs and may pursue raising poultry in the future. Stay tuned! We love our little slice of heaven where we’re able to pursue our passion of stewarding the environment around us.
